Events Coordinator

NEW ROLE – EVENTS COORDINATOR With an exciting and busy summer season ahead of us we’re in need of someone exceptional to provide admin and coordination support to our busy Operations and Creative teams. This is a full time position for a highly organised individual who is meticulous with detail You will be based in our Battersea studio working Monday to Friday. The initial contract will be for 3 months with the possibility of a permanent position. ABOUT US Mary Jane Vaughan Designs is a creative events and wedding floristry studio. As one of the country's leading luxury florists, we bring our signature elevated and artistic style to every project. Our studio is a hive of activity and no two days are the same ABOUT YOU You’re detail oriented, extremely organised, with an agile and creative mindset. Everything we do is in the detail and you thrive on dotting the I’s and crossing the t’s. You’re a passionate multitasker and understand the need to provide superb client service at every turn. You work well under pressure and approach challenges with a smile You have excellent written and oral communication skills. You may have some experience in the vibrant world of events, but this is not essential. A TYPICAL DAY Working closely with the Operations and Creative teams to collate all the information needed for each event; checking timings, schedules, staff and vehicle details and everything in between. You are the link between two teams so providing updates and assisting with follow-ups will be a large part of your role . Liaising with venues and providing operational details where required. Update scheduling templates. Creating proposals and quotes for small events. Assisting in the sourcing and hire of props and sundries. Booking meetings, replying to new enquiries, and answering the phone.
