Job Title:CFA Summer Program Support - Summer Outreach Coordinator Requisition Number:DU13252 Department Name:8X000:College of Fine Arts Work Location:Lexington, KY Salary Range:$18.00/hr Type of Position:Student Position Time Status :Full-Time Required Education:Current Graduate Student Required Related Experience:Previous experience on CFA Summer Crew Required License/Registration/Certification:None Physical Requirements:Able to lift up to 50 pounds, sitting in an office setting as well as the ability to walk on the University of Kentucky campus multiple times a day to provide support to multiple locations. Shift:Up to 40 hours per week, daytime or evening, including weekends and holidays. The work week includes 2 days off each week (Sunday-Saturday work week). Job Summary: Provides administrative and logistic summer program support to the College of Fine Arts. Full time work starts on May 12, 2025, and continues until August 1, 2025, with the anticipation of extending the assignment further. Work with CFA Leadership and technical staff to identify and manage daily and weekly logistic/technical needs and coordination for multiple CFA summer programs on campus including, but not limited to – opening and closing building spaces each day, load in/out coordination of programs, opening and final day events, daily facilities, and computer technical support within classroom/practice spaces. Coordinates daily and weekly schedules of summer CFA student support team, assists with the onboarding and training, plans for adequate coverage for staff member breaks, and communicates with CFA Summer Programs Coordinator daily regarding any additional needs or updates, and complete evaluations and after-action tasks. Manage the Fine Arts Institute program with the School of Art and Visual Studies by organizing summer program offerings, coordination of instructor needs, and program participants. Create and maintain contracts with Fine Arts Institute independent contractors, assist with various administrative and financial tasks, and work with various UK systems to ensure success of Fine Arts Institute community program. Able to lift up to 50 lbs., sitting in an office setting as well as the ability to walk on the University of Kentucky campus multiple times a day to provide support to multiple locations.
