Salary Range:
$22.00 To $22.00 Hourly
Pedalheads Swim is looking for part-time Lifeguards in Boston!
Need To Know:
Job Options: Seasonal
Locations: Showa Boston Institute
Hours: Monday – Friday
Work Dates: End of June – End of August
Pay: $22/hr
Duties:
Ensures the safety of all staff and students at Pedalheads Swim.
Monitors and ensures program and safety standards are being followed.
On-deck and readily available to assist with any safety concerns that may arise.
Reports, updates, and advises the Management Team of safety concerns on site.
Performs first aid and coordinates rescues at the pool. Ensures required follow-up is accurate and complete.
Reports any health and safety hazards in or around the facility to the Management Team.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Prior experience in aquatics as a Lifeguard. Supervisory experience an asset.
Friendly, outgoing, approachable, and positive!
Ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be 21 years of age
Criminal record check required.
Certifications Needed:
- Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate, or Royal Bronze Medallion, or Boy Scouts of America Lifeguard Certificate or National Y.M.C.A.
- American Red Cross CPR Certificate for the Professional Rescuer or American Heart Association CPR Certificate for the Health Care Provider, or National Safety Council CPR Training;
-Red Cross Standard First Aid Certificate, or a Red Cross Community First Aid and Safety Certificate, or National Safety Council First Aid Training, Level 2, or an equivalent certification.
