Job Description Job Description Temporary Legal Talent Acquisition Assistant (San Francisco, CA) LHH is teaming up with a law firm in search of a temporary Legal Talent Acquisition Assistant. This is a HYBRID (in office 3 days per week) position that is expected to have about a 4 month duration. The assistant will provide on-the-ground support for the summer associate program in San Francisco and assist with lateral associate and counsel recruitment. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently. They should have strong communication skills and experience in recruiting, preferably within legal or campus recruiting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential. Additionally, the candidate should be adaptable, able to handle sensitive information with discretion, and willing to work a flexible hybrid schedule. Key Responsibilities: Law Student Recruiting: Prepare and distribute interview materials. Maintain candidate information and electronic recruitment files. Manage data entry in the Applicant Tracking System. Send candidate communications, including callback invitations and rejection notifications. Confirm interview logistics (both in-person and virtual), including booking conference rooms, ordering food/beverages, coordinating technology needs, and updating shared calendars. Greet candidates and monitor interview logistics. Track and send reminders for candidate evaluations. Prepare offer decision meeting packets and maintain candidate tracking reports. Arrange supplemental recruitment receptions and other follow-up events. Coordinate travel logistics for candidates. Summer Associate Program: Prepare and maintain summer associate employment files. Schedule and execute orientation sessions, including preparing materials. Prepare evaluation materials for mid-summer and end-of-summer reviews, and send reminder emails. Book conference rooms and manage catering services for internal training and other programming. Plan and execute social events, track participation, and attend events as needed. Manage day-of logistics for virtual and in-person summer programming. Maintain calendars for summer associates, recruiting team, and involved lawyers. Process and track summer associate-related expenses. Lateral Legal Talent Acquisition: Enter and maintain candidate submissions and related information in the applicant tracking database. Organize and maintain lateral candidate files and associated data tracking. Coordinate lateral interview schedules. Solicit evaluations from attorney interviewers and ensure complete evaluation summaries. Prepare offer packets and update lateral candidate reports. Schedule orientation sessions and prepare new hire orientation packets. General Duties: Maintain paper and electronic records for the department. Process check requests, invoices, reimbursements, and expense reports. Assist with the preparation of statistical reports and presentations. Coordinate logistics for department meetings. Foster positive relationships with personnel in various professional services departments. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Type: Contract (approximately 4 months) Start Date: Late April 2025 Location: San Francisco, CA (hybrid, in office 3 days/2 days remote per week. Must be flexible to be on-site more than 3 days/week on occasion, depending on events) Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Pay Rate: $30-$35/hour, depending on experience Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
