Receptionist

A beautiful 5-star Luxury hotel in Sardinia, part of a group of prestigious hotels are now preparing for the 2025 summer season. They now have a number of positions open for experiences and well-presented Hotel Receptionists with prior 5-star luxury experience to join their vibrant team. Fore this role you would need to be fluent in both English and Italian language, and other languages also welcome. Primary Responsibilities: · Check guests in and allocate rooms in a professional and friendly manner according to hotel standards. · Check guests out, ensuring correct billing and payments. · Answer the phone and take booking enquiries and give information both for internal and external guests. · Manage reservations and update the hotel system with guest information and preferences. · Handle guest enquiries and complaints, escalating any issues to senior management. · Inform and promote hotel facilities, promoting any seasonal packages, loyalty programs or additional services. · Inform guests of nearby sightseeing’s, facilities or services based on the guests needs. · Maintain front-desk organization and cleanliness, following standard operation procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. · Run various reports and share with relevant operational teams. · Prepare reports for housekeeping and any other organizational reports preparing for next day operations. · Pass on any relevant guest information and liaise with various departments accordingly. · Execute any additional tasks given by management as needed. · At least one year’s recent experience in 5-star luxury hotels. · Passionate about guest service and focused on exceeding the guest experience with a willingness to go the extra mile. · Exemplary problem-solving skills with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude. · Good attention to presence and behavior, with excellent grooming. · Fluency in English and Italian languages (both written and spoken) and eloquent speech mannerisms.
