The Havelock Arms is a beloved local establishment in Washington, known for its warm atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly service. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Job Description: As Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pub, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience. You will lead and support our team, manage stock, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support the pub staff, including front of house and kitchen staff. Ensure excellent customer service and address any guest concerns promptly. Manage stocks and order supplies as needed. Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the pub. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with staff training. Handle cash and financial transactions accurately. Coordinate with management to implement promotions and events. Requirements: Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Benefits Pay is £13 with an increase to £13.50 upon successful completion of probation. Share of tips each month averages around £150 30 hours guaranteed expected to be 40 over spring/summer season with one weekend off in four.
