Transportation Position

Job Description: Van Drivers (Job ID 177) Working Conditions: 20-25 hours per week Summer hours required Litchfield Hourly Rate: $17.00 Job Overview: We are seeking responsible and reliable van drivers to transport special needs students to and from school. As a van driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students while providing exceptional customer service. Major Responsibilities: Safely transport special needs students to and from school Observe CT motor vehicle laws and regulations Maintain accurate records of daily routes, student attendance, and vehicle maintenance Regular and consistent attendance Other duties as assigned Must be able to secure students in a seat belt or harness Must be able to safely enter and disembark a van multiple times during the day Must be able to move around the van to help students on an off the van Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED Valid CT license with V endorsement or CDL with a P & S endorsement.
