Air Squared Manufacturing Inc. is a growing OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. Air Squared offers exciting career opportunities working on projects including NASA MOXIE, Leading Electric and Autonomous Vehicle OEM, DOE Clean Energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion and the Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-e), and other cutting-edge projects.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst Intern to support our Finance and Accounting teams. This role offers hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting operations, and reporting. The ideal candidate is a junior or senior in college pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Pay Range: $22 - $29 / hour, based on qualifications and experience

Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in FP&A functions, including forecasting and budgeting
• Create presentations for senior management
• Gain exposure to company financial statements and analysis
• Develop and maintain Excel financial models
• Assist in building Power BI reports
• Perform Ad hoc report and data analysis

Accounting Responsibilities:

• Perform Inventory reconciliations and variance analysis
• Directly support the accounting team with general ledger tasks
• Assist in financial statement maintenance and reporting
• Conduct Ad hoc reporting as needed

Other Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial trends and key performance indicators
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on financial insights
• Support month-end close activities
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies

Financial Analyst Intern Qualifications:

• MUST SUBMIT YOUR RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
• Currently enrolled junior or senior in a bachelor's program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling
• Experience with Power BI or willingness to learn
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles is a plus
