Grounds Maintenance Team Leader

For the successful Grounds Maintenance Team Leader our client is offering: £13 per hour Monday to Friday (Summer hours: 7:15am-5:00pm, Winter hours: 7:45am-4:30pm) Occasional Sat work required Temporary to Permanent Position Full PPE and uniform Annual bonus 1 day per week off in the winter season - paid The role Grounds Maintenance Team Leader : To lead, motivate and instruct teams on site in order to achieve and promote best practice. Ensure daily and weekly productivity targets are achieved within the set parameters. Ensure all operations are carried out in accordance with the company or client specifications and that quality standards are achieved. Liaise with site agents Ensure all employees are carrying out work in a safe and proper manner, ensuring the correct PPE is being worn in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and current legislation. Shrub and tree planting Turfing, Seeding, Fencing, Paving, Decking What our client is looking for in a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader: Prior experience in a similar role- ESSENTIAL Proficiency in operating landscaping machinery and hand tools. Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and blueprints. Use of construction equipment and tools for hard landscaping. Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly landscaping practices.
