Exciting Opportunity in Southwark Leisure – Lead Duty Manager Southwark Leisure is growing, and we’re looking for one of our own to step up and shine as the new Lead Duty Manager at The Castle Leisure Centre. This is your chance to make a lasting impact, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and lead a dynamic team in a brand-new flagship facility. Your Key Responsibilities: Lead the team of Duty Managers and Team Leaders ensuring the seamless operation of the centre. Set the standard for safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence across all areas. Provide hands-on leadership to team members, ensuring high performance and adherence to policies. Take on the role of Site Safety Coordinator, collaborating with the Facilities Manager to maintain our plant and equipment. What We’re Looking For: Someone responsible, calm under pressure, and eager to take the next step in their career. A proven track record in supervisory roles within leisure, hospitality, or service industries. Strong verbal, numerical, and written communication skills. Ideally, you’ll have: Your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and Pool Plant Operators Certificate . Don’t have these qualifications? There is a requirement for the post holder on occasions, to work outside normal office hours and at different venues to meet the needs of the service. Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 36 hours a week.
