Your Role EF Brighton is searching for an energetic and organised individual to join our team as Lounge Manager this summer. This is the perfect opportunity to develop your managerial skills whilst gaining experience within an international company. This role is available for up to 9 weeks throughout June, July & August. The Lounge is the social hub for our summer students right in the heart of the city. Whether it’s dropping by to hang out and catch up with friends, or attending an organised event, it’s a safe, relaxed and enjoyable place for students to unwind. After a summer as an EF Lounge Manager, you will have taken your management skills to the next level. Your communication skills will have been maximised by working with different cultures and backgrounds to ensure a smooth and seamless delivery of every activity. You will have used your initiative and creativity to enhance the student experience every step of the way, building upon the resources provided by EF to deliver a world-class product. You will have refined your natural leadership skills and have demonstrated the confidence to manage teams of individuals from all over the world. Responsibilities Working with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students, you will have the overall responsibility for the EF Lounge throughout Summer 2025 You will be directly involved in shaping the lounge experience, including themed days and weeks and various lounge activities You will be supporting a team of local and international leaders in ensuring all activities give the students a sense of the local culture, whilst being safe and unforgettably fun at the same time On a daily basis, you will be part of a diverse team and community; liaising with our local suppliers as well as motivating and shaping your team of leaders to create the summer of a lifetime for every student.
