Farm Manager (Blueberries / Strawberries)

Overview of Duties Oversee day-to-day operations of the farm, including crop management, irrigation, and pest control within the greenhouse. Manage and motivate a team of 15-30 workers, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met. Management of the Packhouse Manager to ensure smooth packing and dispatching processes. Maintain and monitor the greenhouse environment to optimize growth during both winter and summer seasons. Implement best agricultural practices and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Handle all farm-related logistics. Report regularly to farm owner on farm performance, staff needs, and any challenges faced. Additional Information: This role does not include accommodation. The position offers a competitive salary within the range of R30,000 - R40,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
