Part time position Nanny Job in Virginia Bch

Start Date: June 23, 2025


We are the military dad and physician mom of an active, happy 4 month old seeking part-time help after preschool pick-up (5:00-9:00) with the opportunity to go full-time if we find the right match. Our schedules vary widely and the ideal candidate would have the flexibility to schedule consistent evening care 1-2 months in advance.


Job requirements:
- FT nanny experience
- Infant experience
- CPR certification (if not we will pay for it)
- If interested in moving to full-time we are looking for at least one year commitment, ideally up to 3 years.
- 2+ references


At this time we are not interested in a nanny share or having another little one at our home.
Bonus: early childhood education


Expectations:
- Engage with developmentally appropriate activities and exercises
- Help around the house as needed with baby chores (bottles, laundry, emptying the diaper pail, restocking changing table, straightening up etc.)
- Would love a nanny who enjoys being outside, we live in a great neighborhood for walks!
- Starting out we will ask that you not drive anywhere with our child until we get to know each other better. Eventually we would love for her to attend weekly music, gymnastics, library classes.


Part-Time Rate: $20/hour start with opportunity to move up to $25 at three months.
Full-Time Rate to include PTO and Federal Holidays paid off.


We have two medium-sized, friendly dogs but they don’t require any care other than being let in and out of our fenced in yard periodically. Need nanny having experience with age group Newborn-Infant (0-1 year) Light Housekeeping
