Tax Manager

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our tax compliance and planning efforts within the winery and agriculture sectors. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the tax compliance process, ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities Conduct research on various tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax laws Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals for audits and reviews Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters Prepare and review income tax provisions and associated documentation Lead tax planning initiatives for the organization, focusing on winery and agricultural operations Qualifications 4 Years of public accounting tax experience Experience with 1065 pass through entities, 1120 and 3115 partnerships Inventory cost - Target allocations (profit & Loss), Waterfall (transfer of wealth) Experience with one (or more) of the following industries - Wineries - Distilleries - Agriculture Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification is highly preferred Will consider EA Benefits Base Salary - $120K - $200K 14 Holidays Flex PTO Paid Family Leave Winter Break / Summer Hours Hybrid Work Email Your Resume In Word To Looking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
