Preschool Teacher

Lynwood/Compton Area 90262 & 90221 We are in search of a teacher a Pre-School Teacher who will have her own classroom but feel comfortable working with children aged 18 months to 5 years old. This is a temp to permananet position, we are looking for Summer Staff that could possibly turn into a full time position. Job description includes, but is not limited to: Demonstrates knowledge and application of Early Childhood Education theories, especially as they apply to the preschool program’s target population. Provide a high quality classroom environment. Demonstrates positive professional interactions with children. Supports family involvement. Promotes and implements health and safety practices. Demonstrates clear written and oral communication skills; and effective organization and time management skills. Works cooperatively with colleagues, administrators and staff and engages in professional behavior and development. Performs other duties as assigned by Director Required information At least 12 Early Childhood Education Units 2 or more years of experience working with pre-school aged children Must successfully pass all required background screenings Must have a valid CA Driver’s License Prefer bi-lingual English/Spanish
