As a Demi Chef de Partie at Zuma, we're all about crafting extraordinary dining experiences, you'll play an integral role in making that happen. With your passion for cooking and commitment to excellence, you'll support the kitchen team while building your skills and growing your culinary expertise. Join our team for the summer season 2025, please note this position is a seasonal contract (CDD).
Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Cannes, in the historic Palm Beach. Our luxurious year-round venue plays host to guests attending the many iconic events through-out the year. With a stunning terrace and a multi-format indoor dinning, Zuma Cannes is the go-to location within the South of France. Zuma is proud to be part of the Azumi restaurant collection.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, with a focus on food quality, consistency, and presentation
* Actively develop your skills to become proficient in all kitchen sections, under the guidance of senior chefs
* Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste
* Conduct daily checks of storage areas and maintain high hygiene standards to meet Zuma's rigorous expectations
* Prepare food products in line with recipes, ensuring precision and high standards while overseeing the work of junior team members
* Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations
