About the Role

The Associate Recruiting Assistant is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team. This role will be responsible for assisting with all phases of entry-level hiring and the summer program, managing applicant materials, correspondence, and coordinating interview schedules and recruiting events, while preparing correspondence with recruits and maintaining filing systems. This role will be located in our Chicago office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, routing, and forwarding applicant materials for review by appropriate individuals and committee members
  • Maintaining the recruiting database and generating candidate correspondence
  • Coordinating interview schedules with recruits and interviewers
  • Generating specialized recruiting reports and materials
  • Assisting with functions related to the profiles and status of all recruitment activity
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
  • Display strong written and verbal communication skills

And have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
  • Previous professional experience, preferably

Pay Range

USD $53,000.00 - USD $63,000.00 /Yr.
