Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Information Security to join the Senior Technology management team. The role reports to the Chief Architect and will have a primary focus on the following:

• Strategy - Maintain and develop the information security strategy. The Ideal candidate will have a methodical way of working to carry out risk assessments and security audits, to develop a roadmap of security changes.
• Delivery – the candidate will be able to motivate their team together with related internal and external engineers. To make sure the security roadmap is correctly implemented and maintained.
• Team management/Leadership – a small group of security engineers will need guidance, mentorship and performance evaluation as we grow the team to support the future business. The successful candidate will have experience of creating a collaborative and co-operative work ethic amongst teams, fostering collaboration with multiple parties to maintain a productive environment.
• Resource allocation/Budgeting – collaborating with our delivery team to plan and allocate personnel, hardware, software and services, to ensure cost-effectiveness of the information security budget

Who you are:

• Experience in a similar role, managing and growing high-performing teams and learning from your failures.
• The ability to lead and make decisions to push forward.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to effectively present ideas, influence stakeholders and build relationships.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges and make data-driven decisions.
• Understanding of relevant compliance for retail technology which is distributed worldwide.
• Optionally, the candidate would have relevant security certification (for example, CISSP)
