Chemours is seeking a Mining Engineer Intern to join our Minerals Enterprise team! This position will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
Location: Starke, F lorida & Jes up , Georgia
Hours: Full-time or part-time schedule, flexible to candidate needs
Term : 3 -month assignment between May-August 202 5 ( i.e. 3-month assignment between May-August)

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Working with experienced engineering professionals on minin g , geological and operational improvemen t projects .
- Rotating through functional minerals departments to gain exposure and understanding of the complexity of all aspects of heavy mineral sand mining industry .
- Involvement in all aspect of mine planning and communicating to stakeholders at all levels of the organization via presentations, documents, and face to face presentation.
- Participating in MSHA focused safety management activities and close collaboration with Operations teams.
T he following is required for this role :
- Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above at time of assignment
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mining Engineering, Geolog ical Engineering , or similar fields
- Familiarity with ArcView, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
The following is preferred for this role :
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Technical Experience Preferred
- Participation in relevant activities , organizations, and projects beyond the classroom
