About the Starbucks Summer Internship Program: **  **


The Starbucks Internship Program is paid, full time, 12 week program (June  – early September 2025), designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in a field of interest and expertise within the Starbucks Industrial Engineering team. Roles will be based out of the Seattle Support Center in Seattle, WA.

Some things for you to tackle include: **  **




  • Assess the benefits of engineering technology and methods changes to operations.




  • Apply logic in problem-solving and analysis of alternatives to assess the financial and operations impact of business initiatives.




  • Develop and implement processes to measure, analyze, and improve equipment, station, engine, and holistic store performance.




  • Oversee detailed root cause analysis of bottlenecks in retail store production




  • Contribute to program development, store layout optimization, store engine redesign, schematics reviews, design studio/field ops support, ops lab testing, data collection and analysis, design of experiments, and human-centered design




We’d ** ** love to hear from students with: **  **




  • Knowledge of lean and six sigma principles, theory of constraints, etc.




  • Excellent ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, across a wide range of technical and non-technical teams




  • Continuous improvement mindset and a love of process optimization




  • Interest in rapid concept ideation and testing, simulation modeling, and process standardization




Internship Program Qualifications: **      **




  • Active enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor's degree  




  • Ability to work full time from June – early September 2025




  • Eligibility to work in the United States
