SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for sales growth and new business with existing and new customers
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- Develop and manage pipelines including existing and new customers.
DIMENSIONS, TASKS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Tracking and achieving individual sales goals.
- Prospecting and lead generation.
- Support marketing efforts including
- Lead generation by identifying tradeshows, industry events, and advertising
- Business Reviews with key accounts and identifying strategic growth accounts
- Pipeline management ensuring healthy pipelines to support growth and meeting sales
- objectives.
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with
- them to better understand their business objectives and needs
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
- Promoting the organization and products.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
- Performs other duties as assigned.
AUTHORITY
This position report to the Sales Director
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position is not a managerial role and does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
CLASSIFICATION
This is a full-time remote exempt role.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of related experience preferred
- Experience in the personal care market and/or Contract Manufacturer preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation skills
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs
- Supervisory and interpersonal skills required
SPECIAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
SUMMARY OF BENEFITS:
$65-85k Annually
Bonus Incentive, 12-month fiscal year
Eligible for Commission Program, commission based on sales performance.
