SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for sales growth and new business with existing and new customers

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

  • Develop and manage pipelines including existing and new customers.

DIMENSIONS, TASKS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Tracking and achieving individual sales goals.
  • Prospecting and lead generation.
  • Support marketing efforts including
    • Lead generation by identifying tradeshows, industry events, and advertising
    • Business Reviews with key accounts and identifying strategic growth accounts
  • Pipeline management ensuring healthy pipelines to support growth and meeting sales
  • objectives.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with
  • them to better understand their business objectives and needs
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
  • Promoting the organization and products.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

AUTHORITY

This position report to the Sales Director

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position is not a managerial role and does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

CLASSIFICATION

This is a full-time remote exempt role.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of related experience preferred
  • Experience in the personal care market and/or Contract Manufacturer preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication including presentation skills

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs
  • Supervisory and interpersonal skills required

SPECIAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.


SUMMARY OF BENEFITS:

$65-85k Annually

Bonus Incentive, 12-month fiscal year

Eligible for Commission Program, commission based on sales performance.
