Description
J OB SUMMARY:
The Aftermarket Support Specialist Intern will serve as primary contact in the service network for warranty and program coverage determinations. Works with CSMs and TSMs to provide guidance and up-front information in order to ensure invoicing accuracy. Provides guidance to Aftermarket Sales, Scheduling, and other service center personnel ahead of the aircraft arrival to ensure appropriate coordination efforts take place.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with a cross functional team to provide up-front guidance on warranty and aftermarket maintenance programs coverages
Support operations with providing accurate estimates and invoices to customers
Drive process improvements which create efficiencies and enhance value to the customer
Effectively communicate information to a diverse audience of customers, both internally and externally, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
Other duties as assigned to support aftermarket service to our customers.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Management, Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related field
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Good computer skills
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment to meet department level objectives
Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.
Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
