POSITION: Lead Business Systems Analyst
Director of Software Engineering
SCHEDULE35-hour work week, Monday through Friday
LOCATION
Flexible. In-person attendance is expected during our annual, weeklong all-staff summit. Additionally, participation for in-person meetings is expected at least once per year for most employees, and at least once per quarter for senior leaders.
$112,000 - $120,000 (this range is for the NYC area and will be adjusted for other localities; additionally, factors like skills and experience will be considered).

POSITION SUMMARYCandid is seeking an experienced Lead Business Systems Analyst to design, implement, and administer Candid's business systems and applications, including but not limited to our Salesforce CRM and related integrations.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the design, administration, customization, data integration, and life-cycle management for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Lead administration of Candid's Salesforce organization, including but not limited to, managing multiple user setup, profiles, roles, flows, triggers, custom object definitions, validations, and page layouts to satisfy complex business requirements.
- Ensure interoperability of third-party add-on applications within the CRM system (Conga, DocuSign, etc.). Research and vet additional add-ons as needed to satisfy business requirements.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and product owners to validate and synthesize requirements, identify gaps, and recommend and deliver robust solutions.
- Work with functional business units to understand business goals and corresponding metrics; make recommendations and develop automated and/or interactive reports and dashboards that are scalable.
- Proactively bring up emerging offerings/tools that can assist with existing business workflows.
- Coordinate and execute procedures and guidelines to ensure the quality of customer insights data and perform regular data audits, resolve data integrity issues, and ensure data quality across systems.
- Incorporate cloud architectural design patterns and best practices into system integrations.
- Provide technical expertise in data mapping, loading, and migration to support integrating multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot system issues and resolve as appropriate.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce CRM and related business systems.
- Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members and other teams.
- Mentor junior team members through sharing learning or best practices.
- Research and stay current on new technologies as they relate to CRM systems, business intelligence, and development techniques.
- Perform duties with moderate to low supervision.
REQUIREMENTS
- Certified Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator.
- A minimum of eight years relevant professional experience including three years of hands-on experience developing and administering Salesforce.
- General knowledge of technical design including APIs, relational databases, SSO, cloud infrastructure, and hands-on experience with a range of software.
- Experience with SQL, SOQL, and SOSL required. Snowflake experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Salesforce Data Loader preferred.
- Proficiency with Salesforce APEX, SSIS, and Tableau experience preferred
- Experience with OwnBackup preferred.
- Ability to plan, execute, and maintain numerous technical tasks/objectives.
- Experience implementing new systems strongly desired.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized self-starter who can work across multiple teams.
- Highly analytical data junkie who enjoys technology and coding.
- Ability to work with individuals and groups at all professional levels both internally and externally. Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems.
- Strong communicator.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field strongly preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.
