What you'll be doing
Do you want to design award-winning book covers? Do you want to work with some of the best designers in the business, grow your skills, and apply your creativity to the covers of best-selling books? The Orion Art Department are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Designer to join the team.
You will be working with Art Directors who will help you grow in role and teach you the skills to progress in your career. Working mostly on the literary and music lists, but adaptable enough to work on commercial publishing, special editions, illustrated books and gifts.

Who we are looking for
- The candidate will need to have proven publishing design or related packaging experience.
- You should have a thirst to learn, good organisational skills and the ability to problem solve with support.
- Have a good working knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, have strong art working skills and the ability to provide print ready files.
- Be aware of new trends, illustrator talent, and have a passion for books and design.
- The ability to work effectively to tight deadlines, work collaboratively and with effective communication, and have an understanding of the marketplace and end consumer.
