You and Your Job:

Value Chain Finance is a product group with Rabobank's wholesale advisory services with a global mandate to focus on receivable purchase/finance/discounting, inventory finance, portfolio finance, ABL, certain ABS and supplier finance. VCF provides an integrated offering of these products to corporate clients of Rabobank. The VCF business ambition is to increase scale and standardization of these product offerings where possible with a clear focus on growing the portfolio.

The VCF N.A. intern will have the opportunity to learn a tremendous amount while supporting both the Origination & Execution and Portfolio Management functions of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

Intern activity will include:
  • Structuring, execution of VCF's product suite including receivables financings, securitizations ABLs, structured inventory and Supplier Finance.
  • Maintaining VCF pipeline reports and other business line reports (for pitches, portfolio reviews or internal projects) in conjunction with senior team members and transaction management
  • Being a reliable resource to senior team members in an effort to contribute to the team's overall success

  • Candidacy for current juniors seeking an undergraduate degree in finance or related studies and/or familiarity with finance
  • Strong undergraduate record (strong GPA)
  • Strong record of academic achievement combined with extra-curricular interests
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Solid work ethic and high level of self-motivation
  • Strong team player.

Internship Overview:

To aid in this endeavor, students will be matched with a mentor and provided the necessary professional development opportunities to achieve their goals. The internship will be a full time, 10 week, paid program.

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: $49.50/hour

This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]'s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular position includes all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
