POSITION SUMMARY
Classification: Grade 7 (Local 1452)
FLSA Status: Non-exempt; Skilled craft position.
Department: Transportation, Road & Bridge Division
Position Description: Operate heavy equipment (i.e. loader, dozer, hydraulic-excavator, patrol-motor grader, tandem truck) to maintain or repair County roads. Performs a variety of duties related to the maintenance of County roads and bridges such as cutting trees, maintenance of right-of-way, traffic control, snow and ice control operations.

Work Hours: Normal hours of work shall be 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., overtime as necessary and approved. Summer hours may be Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
