What you'll gain:

As a
Materials/Logistics Management Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and
experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A
few learning opportunities include:

Inventory Management: Assisting in the management and optimization of inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials.

Supply Chain Coordination: Supporting the coordination of supply chain activities, including procurement, transportation, and warehousing.

Logistics Planning: Developing and implementing logistics plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods.

Data Analysis: Analyzing data to track inventory levels, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

Supplier Relations: Communicating with suppliers to manage orders, track deliveries, and resolve issues.

Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and supporting initiatives to enhance logistics and materials management.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics operations.

Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

What you need to be successful:

Education:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Basic project management or organizational skills.

Personal Attributes:
Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part
of a team.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.

Availability:
Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12
weeks for a summer internship.
Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered.
