Our Lift Operations Supervisors spread the stoke through helping to create a safe and motivating work environment for the Lift Ops team.

The Lift Operations Supervisor team supervises multiple chairlift crews to ensure safe and efficient uphill lift transportation and an enriching experience for all who access the lifts. They assist with staff safety and on-the-job training and coaching as needed and fill in for attendants and operators as situations arise and cover workstations for breaks and lunches. Lift Operations Supervisors continually monitor work areas ensuring safety procedures are followed and equipment is operating safely and efficiently and assist with pre-operational checks and opening/closing procedures.

This is a Seasonal Position

Lift Operations Supervisor Scope of Work:
  • Promote a safe work environment
  • Train and coach Lift Operations team members
  • Communicate with Grooming department to meet ramp area requirements
  • Work with Lift Maintenance team to perform pre-operational checks

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 19 years of age for company insurance purposes
  • Advanced understanding of chairlift machinery
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Able to provide effective snow removal and snow work as needed
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Intermediate or above ski or snowboard ability
  • Must commit to work weekends and holidays during the ski and snowboard season
  • Comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business

Compensation
  • Starting Wage: $22.65 Hourly
