Are you a seasoned tax professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role that will allow you to work both remotely and in-office, providing you with the flexibility to manage your work-life balance. You will be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team in the finance industry where your expertise in tax law, tax planning, tax compliance, tax advisory, corporate tax, and tax accounting will be highly valued.

Job Details

As a Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and related reports to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
2. Developing and implementing effective tax planning strategies for the organization.
3. Providing expert tax advisory services to the senior management team.
4. Researching and analyzing complex tax issues and providing clear, concise, and practical tax advice.
5. Ensuring accurate tax accounting and reporting in line with relevant accounting standards.
6. Managing tax audits and investigations, negotiating with tax authorities where necessary.
7. Continually monitoring changes in tax legislation, interpreting their implications, and ensuring that the organization is compliant with new laws.
8. Training and mentoring junior staff members, fostering a supportive and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA qualification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role, preferably in the finance industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of tax law, tax planning, tax compliance, tax advisory, corporate tax, and tax accounting.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide practical advice.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner.
6. A high degree of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
