About the Role:

Raizan Solutions LLC is hiring for our client, an innovative and fast-growing accounting firm in the Chicago area. We are looking for a Senior Assurance Associate who thrives in a dynamic environment and can bring fresh insights to our client's accounting and auditing services. You’ll have the opportunity to work on various assurance engagements, including compilations, reviews, and audits, while guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assurance Engagements: Lead, plan, and execute assurance engagements, including compilations, reviews, and audits.


• Financial Analysis: Analyze and assess financial statements and internal controls, identifying risk areas and proposing improvements.


• Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP, GAAS, and other laws, regulations, standards, and practices.


• Team Supervision: Train, supervise, and mentor junior staff, offering constructive feedback to support their development.


• Client Interaction: Work with clients on technical matters, handle complex transactions, and build strong client relationships for timely and effective issue resolution.


• Other Duties: Perform other job-related tasks as necessary to support the firm’s growth and client needs.

Must Have:

• At least three years of experience in public accounting.


• Stable Work History.

• Compliance Expertise: Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential matters.

Nice to Have:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
