Sports Centre Recreation Assistant

Location: Wimborne Minster

Salary: £6,382 per annum (based on FTE £22,796)

Hours: Part time, 10.5 hours per week

The Schools Sports Centre is a purpose built facility which, in addition to extensive outdoor facilities including tennis courts, netball courts, hockey and football pitches, a 9 hold golf course, offers users a fully equipped fitness suite, sports hall and studios, a 25m swimming pool and Real Tennis and indoor squash courts.

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Recreation Assistant with a passion for sport and fitness to join the team assisting with the efficient and professional operation of the Sports Centre.

The successful candidate will offer support to members and other users of the Sports Centre carrying out lifeguarding duties and assisting the Sports Centre Manager with other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold the NPLQ qualification
• Be hardworking, trustworthy and reliable with a flexible approach to work
• Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage
