Job Description
Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting for temporary, casual workers to cover absent teachers within Secondary Schools across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The Role: Classroom Supervisor / Cover Supervisor
As a Cover Supervisor you will be tasked to deliver pre-planned lessons to students when the school has too many teacher absences and can't cover the classes themselves.
All lesson plans and materials will be provided for you, and you do not need subject knowledge to be successful in this role. What you DO need is good behaviour management skills, resilience, patience and confidence.
We offer FREE Classroom Supervisor training however to be considered for this line of work you MUST have some experience working with young people aged 12-16 either within a school environment or similar setting such as sports clubs or summer camps.
This type of work is great for people thinking about becoming a teacher in the future and want to gain some paid experience within a secondary school classroom. It is also ideal if you are semi-retired and would like to pick and choose your working days each week.
The work is NOT guaranteed, and this is not a permanent Full-Time job however often it can lead to a permanent full-time job.
£ depends on experience & qualifications
Hours are usually 08:30-15:30 but can vary
